Previously, Brian served as CISO of a large health system and worked in healthcare security consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. His rare combination of consulting experience and hands-on operational security leadership together set him apart as one of the industry’s leading experts. Brian serves as a HIPAA Expert Witness for the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and advises ONC and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance matters. He is the founder and host of The CyberPHIx, the healthcare industry's leading podcast for cybersecurity, privacy, risk, and compliance.
